稲垣 貴俊『ハーレイ・クインの華麗なる覚醒』は「暴動の映画」「アドレナリン注射」 ─ 海外レビューで興奮続出、デッドプールやタランティーノとの比較も登場
2020年1月29日（現地時間）、マーゴット・ロビー主演のDC映画最新作『ハーレイ・クインの華麗なる覚醒 BIRDS OF PREY』がロンドン・プレミアを迎えた。『スーサイド・スクワッド』（2016）に登場したハーレイ・クインを主人公とする新たな物語となる本作を、世界に先がけて目撃したジャーナリストや批評家たちからは興奮の声が相次いでいる。ワーナー・ブラザース／DCコミックスは、『ジョーカー』（2019）に続き、ふたたび新たな挑戦を成し遂げたようだ。
本作にはハーレイのほか、超高音波の歌声をもつ歌姫ブラックキャナリー（ジャーニー・スモレット＝ベル）、ゴッサム市警のはぐれ者刑事レニー・モントーヤ（ロージー・ペレス）、マフィア一家に生まれた殺し屋ハントレス（メアリー・エリザベス・ウィンステッド）、プロ級のスリであるカサンドラ・ケイン（エラ・ジェイ・バスコ）からなる「バーズ・オブ・プレイ」が登場。対するのは悪の世界を牛耳るローマン・シオニス／ブラックマスク（ユアン・マクレガー）と右腕のビクター・ザーズ（クリス・メッシーナ）。ポップでスタイリッシュ、クレイジーな世界観のもと、『ジョン・ウィック』監督も参加したハードなアクションが幕を開ける。
